It’s never a boring day in Florida, and it goes without saying that this is even more true ahead of the holidays.

Perhaps without surprise, Krampus, the German Christmas demon we have all come to know and love, has been spotted in the Sunshine State — but looking a little sexier than normal.

Donning a bikini and all, the beach-ready demon was seen enjoying a day at King’s Landing springs just ahead of Christmas.

“[It] was an impulse decision,” said the woman behind the mask, Brandy Clark, 40, of Archer, Florida. “I wasn’t sure [of] the reaction I would get simply due to limited Krampus knowledge out there,” but she went for it anyways and it was well-received.

“A group being lead by Otter Paddle Company showed up and got a good laugh out of it.”

She also shared photos of her adventures on her own pages and a Facebook group called Florida Spring Hunters, gaining a total of over 1.5 thousand engagements.

Clark often spends time at the spring and has even participated in past costume-themed events there, though she wanted to do something a little different and dark for 2020.

“I’m not one for going the same route as others… But I’m also into dark art, skeletons and monsters,” she told The Sunburnt Blogger in an exclusive interview. “What better way to be true to me than to go with Krampus.”

Because of the uncertainty of this year, Clark wasn’t planning the Krampus costume far in advance and had to resort to making her own.

“We were running close on time when we made the final decision to do the get-together, so that left me with some challenges.”

Clark had to scramble to get a budget costume put together in time.

“I found a mask [on Amazon], a trip to Michaels got me the basket for the “‘naughty children,’” the chains came from leftover Halloween goods at The Party Shop, the naughty children came from Dollar General, and the tail was made from a Christmas wrapping paper roll.”

“It was put together in a night. I made do with what I could,” she noted.

With how well her costume has been received, Clark says that she is looking forward to putting together a more realistic Krampus for next year.
